Great item, fast shipping, just wish i’d taken a bit longer looking around, as i found them over £30 cheaper elsewhere, then to add insult to injury had to pay over £36 import tax, how i love the Uk such a rip off
4 Stars Great styler but broke the bank
This is a great tool for my hair: the one thing I pride myself in more than anything else. I am a long-time believer in investing in a good straightener. I’ve seen the effects of people who use cheap straighteners and that is what they end up looking like: cheap. After my HAI styler broke last year, I was (shamefully) using a styler from Revlon. Bad Choice! It created frizz and breakage that I have never encountered before. Plus it took forever to straighten a slightly grown-out bob. I did some research and came down to either getting a CHI or a GHD. I had used a CHI before but I purchased the GHD because the reviews were slightly better and because of the sleep mode. I tend to forget to turn my styler off when I am in a rush on the weekdays so this is a great feature for someone like me. I was very satisfied with my purchase. After a week of using the GHD, my breakage and frizz are virtually vanished. Hair is smooth and sleek and I keep getting compliments. Plus it cut my styling time in half! It is so cute in the hot pink color and comes with a nifty carrying case and heat-resistant mat to set the straightener on when in use. The clips that come in the bag could be a a little stronger (my hair falls out of them when i clip them up) but you can get those for $5 anywhere. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it is so much more expensive than a CHI, out pricing it by about $100. In reality, the performance isn’t THAT much better, it just has better features for the forgetful. However, I am still a very happy customer. I hope that it lasts me a long time because it broke my bank!
5 Stars The best flat iron ever!
I just got this in the mail yesterday and it has made the BIGGEST improvement on my hair! Wow! I still can’t believe it when I look in the mirror how much straighter and shinnier my hair is. I was using the “wet to straight” flat iron and my hair never looked even close to how it looks now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
4 Stars Great Styler
I have had this styler for about a month 1/2 so far so good. I haven’t had a chance to curl my hair with it. I have long wavy and curly hair and this styler straightens my hair perfectly in less than an hour. so far my only dissapointment is that when I purchsed this ghd styler I thought that it would come with the roll out mat as advertised, it did not. I contacted customer service and brought this to their attention, they refunded $30.00 with no hesitation! I do reccommend that if you want the roll out may to email the seller and ask them if it is available before you buy the styler.The features are wonderful, and it does distribute heat evenly. I love that it turns itself off when not in use!
I am so far very pleased with my purchse I am hoping that it will last me a few years, stylers seem to only last about a year! The only reason I rated it a 4 is because I haven’t had it long enough to give it five stars.
